BioHello. Unlike some people who claim otherwise, I actually rather like writing about myself. I'm 19, but I don't always act/look/feel like it. I enjoy art and the arts - visual, performance, language. For the last five years or so history has pretty much been the love of my academic life. I don't know if it's bunk like Mr. Ford says or if we are really nothing without it, if it's cyclical or linear or none of the above, but I enjoy exploring it anyway. I'm drawn to dystopian novels (Oryx and Crake, Brave New World, 1984), deft use of language (A Clockwork Orange, Lolita), and the immortal genius that is Neil Gaiman. Some of my favourite artistes are Bob Dylan, Patrick Wolf, Broken Social Scene and Arcade Fire, but I really do love all kinds of music.
